I started my collegiate career wanting to do film, but my college didn't have a film degree. I ended up pursuing an undergraduate Interdisciplinary Studies Bachelors Degree, and because of that I ended up creating a multi-disciplined business approach in my creativity, communication, and education. My path from there to graduate studies in Film Production and now Entertainment Business have informed and refined that approach even more. I've been exposed to different pathways, research methods, and tools in a variety of ways.
I've created and managed projects in my graduate degrees from concept to completion, and have the ability to present and "sell" an idea I'm passionate about. I'm a problem solver with a great attention to detail and practical sense to meet deadlines while staying within a budget. I've experienced educational and real world success because of that, from film festival wins to course director awards to even a student of the year award.
I have excelled at learning leadership, project management, digital marketing, brand development, artists and product management, and even advanced entertainment law, maintaining a 3.7 GPA and a series of jobs to support myself.
I thrive while leading projects and initiatives, because I believe a true leader inspires others to be the best version of themselves. To me as a project manager, that means creating an open and responsive environment, and keeping collaboration at the forefront for both myself and my team.
